Tulips on The Magnificent Mile, Chicago IL

In the Spring of 2025, in partnership with The Magnificent Mile Association and CNL Projects, we helped developed five custom tulip sculptures with artist Aiden Kelley who helped bring these oversized sculptures to life for the city's signature street. 

Chicago’s annual tulip bloom blankets the magnificent mile with color, these sculptures were an opportunity to highlight the cities floral tradition and bring public sculpture and Chicago heritage together.

Each tulip was installed at different points along the iconic stretch that is the Magnificent Mile. The tulip located at 625 N. Michigan Avenue, showcases the Official Magnificent Mile Tulip in brilliant yellow with vibrant orange accents—specially cultivated for Michigan Avenue’s famous floral displays. Genetically designed to thrive in Chicago’s unpredictable spring and breezy conditions, this tulip has become a hallmark of the city’s seasonal charm. Interested in bringing a piece of the Mile home?
